About Me

familyI'm a freelancer living in Dhaka. I've been in the web development field for almost 6 years. Bringing a campaign online, concepting a design, or locking myself away to html codes are all passions of mine. I'm well-organized, obsessed with details, and driven by learning new software.

Although I was professionally trained as a graphic designer for an educational institution in the 'City University of New York', web development has always been a very important part of my life. I get a high level of satisfaction from taking a project from the idea to completion. Being a graphic designer has enhanced my html skills by helping me think more creatively and abstractly about code. Coding has made my graphic design skills stronger by allowing me to see the complete picture, so I can embrace the internet's limitations, and take advantage of new technologies.

On July 2007 I moved from New York to Dhaka due to family reasons and have been living here since then.

Work History

I started working for the 'Center for Teaching and Learning' at 'LaGuardia Community College' on September 2001. Before that, I was going to the same college to get my Associate degree is 'Programming & Systems'. From September 2001 through July 2007, I have been working at several positions at the Center starting from a part-time 'Student Technology Mentor', part-time Instructional Design Assistant, part-time Instructional Design Associate, full-time Instructional Design Consultant and then after receiving my Bachelors degree in 'Computer Systems' as Technology & Pedagogy Program Associate. I did several workshops per semester with both students and faculty at LaGCC. Amongst which, 'ePortfolio' & 'Digital Storytelling' were key topics. Other topics included audio & video editing and using graphics & other software. Aside from my work projects, I had also done several freelance web projects for various clients in New York.
